In 2005 bezocht Anouk Pappers Peru en zoals dat wel vaker gebeurt tijdens verre vakanties, was er behoefte aan een arts.

Zo kwam zij in aanraking met onze kinderpolikliniek, welke ook medische zorg verleent aan toeristen. Rondgeleidt werd ze door onze toenmalige Nederlandse arts Pim Heemskerk. Na het bezoek aan het kindertehuis Chavez de la Rosa, dat door ons sinds 2001 gesteund wordt met voedseldonaties en het wekelijks houden van een spreekuur, was ze definitief verkocht. Sinds die tijd steunt zij en haar bedrijf Cool Unlimited dan ook onze activiteiten. Daarnaast heeft zij haar familie enthousiast gekregen en dit resulteerde in het idee van haar moeder om de waarde van de cadeaux ter gelegenheid van het 40 jarig huwelijk aan de stichting te schenken. Anouk verdubbelde dit bedrag.
