Onder grote belangstelling van locale en buitenlandse gasten werd op dinsdag 23 september j.l. door de President van de Gobierno Regional, Juan Manuel Guillen en Dr.Paul Knegt, Secretaris stichting Fundacion PAZ-Holandesa, de openingshandeling verricht van de eerste fase van het kinderziekenhuis ‘Tony Molleapaza Rojas’ in Arequipa. Vanaf januari zal deze eerste fase, welke bestaat uit de polikliniek, receptie, administratie en multifunctionele ruimte, gaan functioneren. De overige gebouwen zijnde de kliniek, het operatiecomplex en facilitaire diensten, zullen naar alle waarschijnlijkheid in april 2009 geopend worden.

Con gran interés de los autoridades y publico en general locales y extranjeros el martes 23 de septiembre el presidente del Gobierno Regional de Arequipa, Don Juan Manuel Guillen y el Dr.Paul Knegt, Secretario de la Fundación PAZ-Holandesa, Inauguraron la primera fase del hospital de niños ‘ Tony Molleapaza Rojas’ en Arequipa. A partir de enero esta primera fase, que incluye el policlinico, la recepción, la administración y el espacio multiusos, funcionará. Los edificios restantes son la clínica, el complejo de operación y los servicios del facilitación, el proximo año aperturaremos todos los edificios.
Este lunes Dr.Reinier Twisk y Dr.Jan Kees van der Kamp llevó a cabo horas de atención para componer la lista definida de niños para los operaciones. 50 niños (con un labio leporino, un paladar abierto o quemaduras) las dos semanas que vienen se van operar. Comenzaron ayer con las operaciones, los 5 o 6 patientjes diarios. Un programa ocupado e intensivo, pero va excelente.
Afgelopen maandag hielden Dr.Reinier van Twisk en Dr.Jan Kees van der Kamp spreekuur om een definitieve lijst van te opereren kinderen samen te stellen. 50 Kinderen (met een hazelip, open gehemelte of brandwonden) worden de komende twee weken geopereerd. Gisteren werd begonnen met de operaties, iedere dag 5 of 6 patientjes. Een druk en intensief programma, maar het verloopt uitstekend.

De sponsoractie van de Familie Neuerburg door de beklimming van de Kilimanjaro,Tanzania, juli j.l., heeft ruim 5.000 euro opgebracht. Een werkelijk schitterend resultaat. Deze opbrengst zal worden aangewend om kinderbedden te kopen voor de ziekenzalen in het kinderziekenhuis.
The fundraising action of the family Neuerburg by the rise of the Kilimanjaro, Tanzania, in july, have produced wide 5,000 euro . A really superb result. This turnover will be applied to buy child beds for the patient rooms in the child hospital.La acción a beneficio de la familia Neuerburg por subir al Kilimanjaro, Tanzania, en julio, ha producido una donacion de 5.000 euros. Vandaag werd bij alle geselecteerde kinderen voor het a.s. operatieproject, welke 20 oktober van start gaat, bloed afgenomen. De wachtkamer zat vol en zoals dat gaat met bloedprikken, uiteraard veel gehuil.
Maar het leed was gelukkig snel geleden, want na de vervelende prik, kreeg ieder kind een speeltje en dan is de aandacht afgeleidt.Vanaf dinsdag 21 oktober tot en met vrijdag 31 oktober zal het team o.l.v. Dr.Reinier van Twisk, plastisch chirurg, ruim 50 kinderen opereren.
50 Kinderen die een hazelip, een open gehemelte of brandwonden hebben en niet over geld beschikken om een operatie te ondergaan. Wij helpen hen gratis, niet alleen hun benodigde operatie (s) maar ook de gehele nazorg.A pesar de la gran agitación de construir el hospital, continuamos con nuestros proyectos. Hoy se tomaron muestras de sangre de todos los niños seleccionados del proyecto de operación, que va a comenzar el día 20 de octubre.
