Arm prostheses for Roxi (11 yr) and Roger (12 years) have been ordered

Last Saturday we ordered the arm prostheses for both Roxi like Roger. Within three weeks they are delivered. Meanwhile both need to practice a lot to strengthen their muscles. Then they will be guides to learn how to deal with it. But both are super motivated, so is quite good.

Giving arms to Roger and Roxi and get them back on track!

Giving arms to Roger and Roxi and get them back on track!

Since april 2012 we have our own children’s hospital in Arequipa and in this hospital we’re attending for three months at Roger (13 years) and Roxi (11 years).
Both are victims of a terrible accident caused by a cable high voltage electricity in the province of Puno. Roger lost his right arm and a part of his genitals and  Roxi lost both forearms, trough the electric burns.

In these three months, they have not only gotten intensive medical care but also psychological therapy so that they can accept their dramatically changed lives.

Now they need armprotheses!

Now they need armprotheses so both can have again an independent life and go back to their families and villages.

These armprotheses cost per piece 1500 euro/1700 dollar and we need to buy three to get these kids back on track.
