Dr.Reinier from Twisk and his team, consisting Dr.Jo Mouris, anesthetist, Jose Tiebelink, anesthesia assistant, Annelies Soethof and Ilse Van Dender, surgical assistants, operating since last Tuesday, 6 to 7 patients per day in the Hospital General Arequipa.

Dr.Reinier de Twisk y su equipo, compuesto por Dr.Jo Mouris, anestesista, Tiebelink José, asistente de anestesia, Annelies Soethof y Ilse van Denderen, asistentes quirúrgicos, en funcionamiento desde el pasado martes, de 6 a 7 pacientes por día en el Hospital General Arequipa.

Dr.Reinier van Twisk en zijn team, bestaande uit Dr.Jo Mourisse, anaesthesist, Jose Tiebelink, anaesthesie-assistente, Annelies Soethof en Ilse van Denderen, operatie-assistenten, opereren sinds afgelopen dinsdag 6 of 7 patientjes per dag in het Hospital General in Arequipa.
Tot en met vrijdag 4 november zullen zij in het totaal ruim 55 Peruaanse kinderen, geboren met een schisis, een nieuwe glimlach geven.

Today the first devices for the hospital arrived. These are part of the donation done by As.Cerro Verde.
Now we have two electrograms and two extractors for the operation theatre. Obviously not enough to run a hospital, but we are on the right track.

Hoy en día los primeros dispositivos para el hospital llegó. Estos son parte de la donación hecho por As.Cerro Verde . Ahora tenemos dos apparatos de Electrocardiografia y dos apparatos de succiòn (sala de operaciones). Obviamente no es suficiente para dirigir un hospital, pero estamos en el camino correcto.

Vandaag zijn de eerste apparaten voor het ziekenhuis gearriveerd. Deze zijn onderdeel van de donatie die door As.Cerro Verde gedaan wordt. Nu hebben we twee ecg apparaten en twee afzuigapparaten voor de operatiekamers. Natuurlijk nog niet genoeg om een ziekenhuis te laten draaien, maar we zijn op de goede weg.

Angelo (3 months) and Juliana (2 months), both born with cleft lip, came all the way from the village last Saturday Lampa, more than five hours travel from Arequipa, along with their (young) mothers. Our familiarity with other regional NGOs, schools and others they knew the way to our finding. Both Angelo and Juliana are too young and under their weight to operate, they must first grow.

And now we have them first screened and given a gift PAZ kit, which includes a special pacifier and baby milk powder zit.De coming months they will continue to receive.Angelo (3 meses) y Juliana (2 meses), dos nacieron con labio leporino, vino todo el camino desde el último pueblo de Lampa sábado, más de cinco horas de viaje desde Arequipa, junto con sus (jóvenes) las madres. Nuestra familiaridad con otras organizaciones no gubernamentales regionales, escuelas y otros sabían que el camino a nuestro hallazgo. Tanto Angelo y Juliana son demasiado jóvenes y bajo su peso para operar, deben crecer primero.

Y ahora tenemos que primero examinados y dado un regalo PAZ kit, que incluye un especial del chupete y la leche en polvo procedentes zit.De meses que seguirán recibiendo.Angelo (3 maanden) en Juliana (2 maanden), beiden geboren met schisis, kwamen afgelopen zaterdag helemaal uit het dorpje Lampa, ruim 5 uur reizen van Arequipa, samen met hun (jonge) moeders. Dankzij onze regionale bekendheid bij andere NGO’s, scholen e.a. wisten zij de weg naar ons te vinden. Zowel Angelo en Juliana zijn nog te jong en onder hun gewicht om te opereren, ze moeten eerst groeien.

En hebben wij ze nu eerst gescreend en een PAZ-kit cadeau gegeven, waarin o.a. een speciale speen en babymelkpoeder zit.De komende maanden zullen zij melkpoeder blijven ontvangen.
